So I'm writing this blog post in picksburgese n'at. Sometimes, arahnd here we can hear our neighbors sounding like iss n'at. Not alls ovum mind you, jest some ovum n'at. Some words I've learned are:
- nebby (or neb nose ) = nosy
- red up = get ready
- slippy = slippery
- n'at = etcetera
- Jagerbush = brier patch
- gumband = rubber band
Here's a great picksburgese translator n'at. It works great, and translates most words n'at. In fact, I used it to translate this post. And yinz can looky up alls yinzes picksburgese vocabulary here. They even have an audio quiz yinz can take, though I'm a bit scared to try that.
