That's right!! I got hooked up on a trip to New Orleans for Spring Break. Four days in the Crescent City volunteering for litercy. Of course, there will be time off as well.
The first night, I already know I'm gonna eat at Cooter Brown's. Last time I was in NOLA, that was the best place I ate. Shrimp Po Boys, cheese fries (with real Velveeta) and Abita Purple Haze. YUM!!
I'll also have to make time to go to Pat O's to get a Skylab - Good stuff! I'll also have to hit up Coop's Place (best remoulade in town) and sit in Igor's for a while (I spent a night there last time I was in NOLA - no kidding!).
So, this should be fun, and right before my birthday too!! I'm so excited - I get a vaction, I get to help folks, I get to do library stuff, and I get to eat good food! YAY!!!
